Where do my emails actually live, and who can read them?
Your emails are indexed into a private, tenant-isolated store. Content is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, OAuth tokens are envelope-encrypted, and every search query is scoped to your authenticated account — there is no code path that returns another tenant's data. Nobody at Quri reads your email as part of normal operations.
Do you train AI models on my email?
No. Your emails are embedded so that you can search them; those embeddings live in your isolated index and are never used to train models — ours or anyone else's. Enterprise customers can go further with BYOK, so even embedding and answering runs on API keys they own.
Who owns my data — and can I take it out?
You do, unambiguously. Every plan includes GDPR-grade export (everything we hold, in portable formats) and delete (index, embeddings, tokens, and scheduled backup purge). Disconnecting a mailbox revokes our access immediately.
What does BYOK actually mean?
Bring Your Own Keys. Enterprise customers plug in their own OpenAI and Qdrant credentials, so embeddings and answers are computed on accounts they control and bill directly. Same product, same code paths — your keys, your data plane.
How painful is migration and onboarding?
Connecting Gmail or Outlook is an OAuth consent screen — under a minute. Any other provider works over IMAP. Initial indexing runs in the background; most inboxes are fully searchable within hours. Business plans include guided setup, and Enterprise onboarding is white-glove.
What counts as an AI search?
One question asked in natural language. Opening cited source emails, re-reading answers, and browsing your archive are always free. Daily limits reset at midnight in your timezone.
Can I change or cancel plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately with prorated billing; downgrades apply at the end of the billing period. Cancel whenever — your data remains exportable for 30 days after, then it is deleted.
What permissions do you request from Google and Microsoft?
Least privilege for the features you enable: read-only scopes for indexing, and send scopes only if you turn on email actions. You can revoke access from your provider's dashboard at any moment, independently of us.
