Terms of service

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Quri, provided by KI-Quadrat Systemhaus GmbH (“we”, “us”). Please read them before you create an account.

1. Scope

These terms apply to all contracts for the use of Quri between us and our customers (“you”), whether you use Quri as a consumer or as a business. Conflicting terms of business customers do not apply unless we agree to them in writing. An individual Enterprise agreement takes precedence over these terms.

2. The service

Quri lets you connect mailboxes over IMAP and SMTP, indexes their contents, answers questions in natural language with citations to source emails, and drafts replies that you can review and send through your own mailbox. The features and limits of each plan are described on our pricing page.

Features described as “on the roadmap” or “beta” are not part of the agreed scope until they are generally available.

Quri is not a backup service. Your email provider remains responsible for storing your mail.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity in your account. Please tell us immediately if you suspect misuse.

4. Your mailboxes and content

You may only connect mailboxes that you are authorized to access. If you connect a mailbox for business purposes, you are responsible for having a legal basis for processing the personal data it contains; we process it on your behalf under our DPA.

You keep all rights to your content. You grant us only the rights we need to provide the service to you.

5. AI-generated content

Answers and drafts are generated by AI and can be incomplete or wrong. Check them against the cited source emails before you rely on them. You decide whether to send a draft, and you are responsible for the messages you send.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Quri for unlawful purposes or to send spam or unsolicited bulk email;
  • try to access other users' data or to bypass security measures or plan limits;
  • overload the service or interfere with its operation;
  • reverse engineer the service, except where the law expressly allows it.

We may suspend access if there are concrete indications of a breach of these rules. We will tell you and give you an opportunity to respond, unless the urgency of the situation prevents this.

7. Plans, prices and payment

The Free plan costs nothing within its limits. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance at the prices shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Prices are in euros. For business customers they are shown excluding VAT; for consumers, VAT at the rate of your country is added at checkout. Business plans are billed per seat.

Plan limits are enforced by the service. There are no automatic charges for usage beyond your plan.

Payments are processed by our payment provider.

8. Term and cancellation

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. If you are a consumer and an annual subscription has renewed, you can cancel it at any time with one month's notice. The right of either party to terminate for good cause is unaffected.

When a paid subscription ends, your account continues on the Free plan. You can export or delete your data at any time.

9. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from a contract for a paid plan within 14 days of concluding it, without giving reasons (§ 11 FAGG). To do so, send us a clear statement before the 14 days are over, for example by email to office@ki2.at or by post to KI-Quadrat Systemhaus GmbH, Kirchengasse 23, 3003 Gablitz, Austria. You can use the model form below, but you don't have to.

If you expressly asked us to start providing the service during the withdrawal period, you pay a proportionate amount for the service provided until you withdraw (§ 16 FAGG). We refund any other payment within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same means of payment.

Model withdrawal form (fill in and send it only if you want to withdraw):
To KI-Quadrat Systemhaus GmbH, Kirchengasse 23, 3003 Gablitz, Austria, office@ki2.at:
I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/we (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service: Quri, plan …
Ordered on …
Name of consumer(s): …
Address of consumer(s): …
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is sent on paper): …
Date: …
(*) Delete as appropriate.

10. Availability and support

We work to keep Quri available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, unless an Enterprise agreement says otherwise. Maintenance, outages at our providers or events beyond our control can cause interruptions. Support is available by email; Enterprise customers receive priority support.

11. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for personal injury, under the Austrian Product Liability Act (PHG) and to the extent we have given a guarantee.

For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, meaning obligations whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. Mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act (KSchG) remain unaffected.

12. Data protection

Our privacy policy explains how we process personal data. For business use, our data processing agreement applies.

13. Accessibility

How Quri meets the requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG), and how to report a barrier, is described in our accessibility statement.

14. Changes to these terms

We will inform you of changes to these terms at least 30 days before they take effect. If a change is to your disadvantage, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually reside.

For business customers, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the court with subject-matter jurisdiction for our registered office in Gablitz, Austria. For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply (§ 14 KSchG).

If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
