Accessibility statement

Last updated: 30 September 2026

KI-Quadrat Systemhaus GmbH wants everyone to be able to use Quri. This statement gives the information required by the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG), which implements the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).

1. What this statement covers

This website, the Quri web app and the Quri mobile apps, including signing up, buying a plan and managing your account.

2. The service

Quri connects to your email accounts, makes your mail searchable and answers questions about it in English or German. Every answer links to the emails it is based on. You can also read, reply to and send email, and let Quri draft a reply for you to review. Plans and prices are on the pricing page; how the service works is described in the FAQ and the terms of service.

3. Standard and status

We design and test Quri against the harmonised standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1, which includes the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

Status: partially conformant. The website and the web app meet the automated WCAG 2.1 AA checks on every page. The exceptions and open items are listed in section 5.

4. How Quri meets the requirements

  • Everything can be done with the keyboard, with a visible focus and a link to skip to the content.
  • Pages use headings, landmarks and labelled controls for screen readers. Sync progress and new answers are announced as status messages.
  • Text contrast is at least 4.5:1 in the light and the dark theme. Quri follows your system's light or dark setting.
  • Text can be enlarged and the layout adapts to small screens without scrolling sideways.
  • Animations are reduced when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • The interface is available in English and German. AI-generated answers and drafts are labelled, and every answer names its sources.
  • No task has a time limit.

How we test: automated checks with axe-core against WCAG 2.1 AA for every page of the website and the web app, in English and German, in the light and dark theme and at phone width, on every release (last run: 30 September 2026, 150 page checks, no violations); and manual keyboard tests of the main tasks.

5. Known limitations

  • Emails from others: Quri shows emails the way their senders wrote them. HTML emails can lack text alternatives or have poor contrast.
  • Third-party pages: sign-in with Google and the payment pages are provided by Google and our payment provider.
  • Screen readers: full tests with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack are still in progress.
  • Mobile apps: the apps are being reviewed against EN 301 549 before their release in the app stores.

6. Report a barrier

If something in Quri is hard or impossible for you to use, or you need information in another format, write to support@askquri.com or use the contact form. Please tell us the page and what happened.

7. Enforcement

If our answer doesn't solve the problem, you can contact the market surveillance authority for the BaFG:

Sozialministeriumservice – Landesstelle Oberösterreich
Abteilung OÖ6 – Marktüberwachung digitale Barrierefreiheit
Gruberstraße 63
4021 Linz, Austria
